• BUILDING MICRO & NANO ENTERPRISES

Rooting livelihoods in the heart of India.

Udyami refers to a person who is industrious, diligent, and hardworking. We work with micro and nano entrepreneurs in underserved geographies — helping them grow stable and aspirational businesses through context-sensitive grassroots incubation.

  • THE CHALLENGE

India needs 100 million new livelihoods by the year 2030.

Agriculture has long stopped absorbing the growing workforce. There is a need of a thriving ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurship. Micro and nano entrepreneurs exist everywhere around us — but weak documentation, poor access to finance, and limited mentorship keep them stuck. Udyamie bridges that gap.
  • WHO WE WORK WITH

    First-generation entrepreneurs building real businesses.

Small shop owners, food producers, service providers — people with enterprise energy but limited access to structured support. Udyamie walks alongside them, block by block.

  • WHAT GETS ACCOMPLISHED

Diverse micro-enterprises generating immense value, on ground.

This is the core of the work; what happens when rubber hits the road! Credit being raised, jobs getting created, revenues growing and overall contribution to India's economy pushing forward.

  • HOW UDYAMIE WORKS

A three-pillar model for lasting growth.

    Section image
    Enabling Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs receive one-to-one coaching, fortnightly field reviews, in person workshops and stakeholder linkages — not just a traditional classroom training
    Section image
    Organizations as Incubators
Grassroots organizations are trained to function as local incubators — facilitative, vernacular, and hyper local. Officers undergo a pedagogy aimed at becoming anchors
    Section image
    Ecosystem Building
We foster a collective, powered by use of digital platform, that enables the entrepreneurs to connect to each other, share resources, skills and best practices across India
  • FOUNDER SPEAKS
"Livelihoods are not just about income, they are about dignity, agency, and the ability to shape one’s own future. Over the years, I have seen that when local entrepreneurs grow, entire communities move forward with them. Udyamie was born to nurture that journey - helping grassroots entrepreneurs become stronger, more confident, and truly self-reliant."
